OUR MISION
Rhode Island Women in the Trades is a non-profit organization established in 2019.
Our mission is to educate, organize and expand RI’s current and future tradeswomen to become one voice advocating to ensure fair and equal access to information, training, and opportunity for employment in the construction industry.
These opportunities will help all women, including unemployed, underemployed, single mothers, women of color, LGBTQ plus, and marginalized women to achieve economic empowerment and upward mobility resulting in a plethora of skilled, qualified tradeswomen, to help build and maintain Rhode Island. These are lifelong careers and we are an equal opportunity pre-apprentice program.
“There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.”
